Just to make sure...

OK the only time i've raced is against my buddy's Ford Escape rental. Of course I whipped his *** solid, but...I was on a dirt airstrip and left the VDC on. I gunned it and the system dropped all the power, the tires hooked up to the dirt and even thogh he got me off the line in the dirt, I caught up to him and was at the other end of this C-130 strip by the time he got to the halfway point. I put up such a dust cloud so as to completely brown-out the whole airfield. Luckily there weren't any herky Birds scheduled that week!
Then a few days later, same bud, same rental, we were lined up at a stop light and he looks over and gives me "the look".
I left the VDC on. Light turns green and I step on it. Some VDC-caused hesitation, but of course held traction, this time he never got on front of me like it was in the dirt, and I was just frickin' gone. I looked in the rearview and he must've given up.

Anyway, when I do this should I turn VDC off and Tow Mode on? How do I get the most out of it when my other bro with his hemi and the other two guys with Hyperteched and K&N'ed Z71's start running their sucks. ? I need to shut these dudes up in the name of Titans everywhere.

VDC on and Tow Mode off. The dude with the Chevy is gonna need alot more than a programmer and a CAI to take the titan. As far as the hemi guys go...give 'em all you got.

VDC on? I would think you would want to maintain control of your gas pedal without the computers assistance for a fast start.

Don't listen to Havock. He drinks too much. Although, even drunk he's smarter than me.
