This is a Titan Forum, they like Titans and some bash Hemi's or whatever but for the most part I've found these folks to be pretty reasonable.
This is about linear acceleration. Point A to point B.
Power to weight ratio is the most significant factor when making comparisons.
Some mistakenly use advertized horsepower figures that are deliberately misleading.
Other factors include gearing, traction, drivetrain parasitic losses, etc.
Nissan has done a very good job with this on the Titan, even though in my personal opinion, the styling is lacking!LOL (Reminds me Mopar in the early 60's yuck, but fast).
I'm not saying you won't beat this guy or that guy, but if you call them out, back it up, don't back up.

a comparable race would be a quad cab 2 wheel drive hemi with 3.92 rear vs a quad cab 2 wheel drive titan, but ok, ill stick to my race, my truck full street trim vs any titan, as long as the titans not using nos, im game to race it, any takers?

Everything that can be said on thsi forum has been, lets sum up, a stock single cab 2 wheel drive hemi will beat a stock 2x4 ext cab titan, a ext cab titan 2x4 will beat a quad cab 2x4, or 4x4 Quad cab hemi, a quad cab 2x4 hemi vs a quad cab titan 2x4 would be a good race. the only thing left is where the race is gona be. and when

Don't misunderstand me. I'm not going to race you but I drive the "any Titan" you are looking for. Look at my performance mods below my sig and read the links of the HP/torque gains of these mods. There are also mods that are not linked here yet. If someone has these mods up front plus Headers, NO CATS, 02 simulators, spring/valve job, polished and ported heads & larger injectors, changed rear ratio and Hi-Perf tires/wheels, would you race them with your stock hemi with ONLY what you presently have for pink slip?

Prior to the race at a drag strip, get both cars inspected first (Titan checked ONLY for NOS & SC vs your stock Hemi motor verified to have your claim of only 4 mods above) and hand over the notarized signed titles to a third party for final distribution after the race!! You screwed yourself by limiting your truck to ONLY 4 mods: stock pipes, new muffler, CAI and a CHIP. While carelessly you gave the other vehicle everything EXCEPT Nitros & SC.

Sad to say in this race with conditions you alone pre-determined, YOU ARE WALKING HOME. "People bring what they brung" You are bringing only a stock Hemi with above 4 mods. I was making a sarcastic remark about your comment. As in, I hate it when people say things like:

You sure do seem like you feel the need to prove yourself. Are you trying to justify your to yourself the worthiness of your own truck? Just curious, I've never seen anybody so eager to race before in my life.

I wish someone close to this guy would run him so this banter can end. I don't care if it is a stock 4x4 crew cab with 800 punds of tools in the bed. Win or lose.

And for the record, I am not talking crap when I can say that I've beaten Hemis with more mods than that in "run what you brung trim". I've also beaten a few std cabs in similar trim as well. You can ask Tman, Mr DestinE, and RedRaiderHemi, all dodge owners, and they will tell you what they have seen and the fact that I've beaten/lost to them as well depending on how our respective runs were. I have beaten a couple with just motor and no nitrous.

Considering the last time Murf ran at the track and did mid 15s (according to a post on DTW), I'd say my 14.9s on motor under the same exact weather conditions tells me I'd win. But we'll probably never know because I don't have to go run him anywhere because I've already beaten Hemis with the same or similar mods. Considering I have one of the more modified titans out there, I doubt Murf has run into any that are as quick as mine. And that's fine. But this is getting rather tiring. I have nothing to prove anymore because I've already done it. Believe what you want to.

The only point im trying to make is that a stock hemi single cab 2x4 will beat a ext cab 2x4 titan stock all day long everytime. most of you will agree with me, but some of you keep saying that a titan 2x4 can beat a single cab hemi, which it cant as long as both drivers can drive. thats all im saying. not 4x4's, not quad cabs, but a single cab hemi vs a ext cab titan, the hemi will win everytime.
And last thing, whats the fastest a titan has run in the 1/4 mile? with any mod there is. with the hemis its a single cab long bed running 12.4's. using nos. and 13.7's all motor. i dont see any titans near that, but i would like to hear whats the fastest titan. thanx
