My great uncle (grandmother's sister's husband....can you follow that?) had a '69 Roadrunner ragtop. It had the 440 in it with auto trans. He bought it new back in '69 and kept it until the mid '80's. I remember riding in it as a kid and it was fasssst. It rode really really stiff though. About as stiff as an '84 Z51 equipped Corvette. It had the black hood, chrome hood pins, etc. It was light gold with black top/interior. Awesome car!

I like all the old musclecars of that era. Everything seemed to look good back then; Mustangs, Barracudas, GTXs, Coronets, Chargers.....etc. And this is coming from a GM guy!

The problem with me is if I got an old musclecar, I'd probably want to restore it back to factory stock condition. There's nothing like driving a factory restored vintage musclecar.
