Ok so im driving home from work and i see this Chebby ss. (lowered 2/4, exhaust) from what i can tell. So i give him the vroom vroom treatment and he gives it back and what do i hear??? A loud whine like, umm I dont know a SUPERCHARGER! So we catch a light as the car gods would have it and I notion hime to roll down his window. He does, with a big smile on his face. And im like im not dumb I hear that. And then I proceed to tell him if he were stock I have to emabrass him. He agrees. Then the light turns green , from 0-70 I was only 1 1/2 to 2 lengths behind him. So we pull up again at a stop sign and he said it wouldnt take much for you to beat me now, I agree. Then we hit it again from like 0-40 and same result. So as ive stated before, ss=no problem, ss w/blower= tiny tiny problem.

ss with s/c is in the 13's so with a s/c on the titan it will be close, i wouldnt call it a tiny problem because remember they are awd. you would be lucky to beat one stock, because they run around those times you are.

The last time I ran at the track, a Harley Davidson Ford F 150 CC was there also, we did not run each other, but he ran 15.18 and I ran 15.15. He had the 5.4 with a supercharger. I was surprised that he wasn't quicker.

Nice race, good e.t.
I'm glad Nissan has continued to be performance oriented, even with their trucks.
I still remember them as Datsun though, I had a 510 sedan back in the day, as my son would say.LOL

You have to be careful with those sc trucks. It all depends on how much boost they are running. Judging by the distance he had you at 70 mph, I would say he was running mid-high 14 sec in the 1/4; probably only 4-5lbs of boost. However, procharger makes bolt on kits for the 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 giving them a 8-9 lbs of boost making an additional 170 hp. Good to put those trucks in the 13 sec range.

but my hat off to you on your death. Keep lettin them have it.

A buddy of mine at work has a SS...it's a couple years old with the 6.0...AWD...and a 8 PSI supercharger...watching him break all four wheels loose was enough for me not to even entertain racing him.

He claims when I ask that it dynoed at over 500 HP and 700 TQ.

I has aftermarket exhaust...and it has be reprogrammed.

And I know that any truck that can break all four loose on the pavement...I sure as hell aint racing!
