Titan vs Audi A4???

Ok, I just got my Titan not too long ago and have a friend w/ an 01 Audi A4. Its got the 2.8 liter I think w/ around 190 hp. He looked up the 0-60 times for both vehicles and his is a bit faster. I still think I've got him even though theres a large weight difference. What do some other people think? Theres a drag strip (only 1/8 mile) up the road from here, so once the truck is broken in sufficiently I think we might have to take a trip there . If it happens, I'll post some times or something.

If he has kept up with his car, I think he will get you by a length or so. That's if I'm thinking of the right car. What the heck - go run and tell us what happened.

I think in a 1/8 mile you should take him on the slip. In a 1/4 mile holding him off would be much more difficult. His only chance is if he's a very good driver and can pull a solid 60 ft. time. A local smart *** kid wanted to run my Supra against his eclipse GS-t which stock is rated 210h.p. and lighter than an A4, told him he had to get thru the the titan first. Still hasn't run the supra yet LOL. 0-70 the titan is very impressive even against cars that should be faster.

I agree, the titan should be able to get the 60 ft on the A4. Then he will be playing catch up after that.

I wouldnt think so, you can throw all the numbers up but that audi has a far superior horespower to weight ratio. It also has a superior transmission. You may not get blown away but you wont win. We looked at one of those before my dad bought me this truck. That thing was powerful.

I'm really not sure at all. I think that I could beat him even though its all wheel drive and a 5-spd manual. Its not a newer one either so I really don't know. If it happens I'll definitally give a full report, hehe.

Titan is impressive

I just got mine last week and Thurs. nite absolutely demolished a talon with the loudest exhaust and the looks of a street racer I immediatley had a car length on him and let up a little (wife was with me) and I hear him winding up that little engine behind me so I put a couple lengths on him...before the next light...you should have seen the look form the youngsters at the next lite..shocked! I edged a Mitsubishi 3000 GT on the interstate from a rolling 35 or so on the ramp up to 100 and he was on it as hard as he could cause I had already blew by him before the highway and he tried to run by me on the interstate ramp.

Lot of fun
