First Kill

I dont usually go out looking for an exscuse to burn some gas but I did get my first kill this past weekend. Coming back from a camping trip with a bed full of gear I came upon a construction zone. The limit usually on this stretch of road is 65 due to the contruction it was posted at 45 and only a single lane. So we are cruising along at about 50 through the zone (nobody was working as it was memorial day...) and before I know I have a Lexus GX470 (I am pretty sure that was what it was.) just about rubbing the chrome off the bumper.

I set the cruise and continued on my way. I could tell that the chump in the Toyota was getting agitated as he was gesturing with his hands (no fingers...yet) to his arm candy next to him.

Well we get to the end of the construction and it opens back up to two lanes and I can tell that this guy is going to try and fly past me. So I ease into the right lane and let him get next to me. I can tell he is gunning it cause I can hear the scream of his motor (window was down.) So to make it interesting I do the same. We started off at about 60 mph, my front bumper was about even with the passenger side front door.

I would say by 85 I had a full length on him. While I caught a finger from the driver of the Lexus and about 10 miles worth of greif from the Mrs....it was definitely worth it!

hey, only 10 miles of grief, thats not bad. goin that fast, thats only about 6 minutes....i can day dream that long any time. nice kill

I got my 1st one this week too. A new Toyota Land Cruiser. She tried to jump past me on a 2 lane freeway onramp. I nailed the throttle, left her there in my dust, and SWMBO *****ed at me all the way home. But it was worth it.
