Looks like the Vortec 6.0 puts out 300 hp with 16 valve OHC whereas the Titan has 305 hp with 32 valve DOHC. I think you should set up a video cam!

OK..

And the night goes, come to find out another guy we work just bought a new F150 couple weeks ago so we talked him in to what my boss calls a " friendly race " haha !! BS I wanted to smoke both of them.

We started out all even on a 4 lane street ( its dead after 6 ) another co-worker stood out there with a towel to start the race. The towel went down and it sounded like a race track, I pulled out ahead first, 2500 then F150. The 2500 came up even with me after about a 1/8 of a mile then all the sudden the Titan just took off like I couldn't believe. I ended up beating the 2500 by about 2 1/2 truck lenghts and the F150 was eating both are dust.

I must admit I was a little scared when the 2500 came up next to me, that thing does have some power. The Titan does have a 5 more HP and 19lbs more torque.. that must have been the big push.

Also, on my way home from a friends some young punks in a Durangoo thought they could take my import.. sorry for them all they say was the back of my truck all the way...

You should negotiate such things before racing.

He'll call you a "fast Jap truck pu$$y".

The word is out on the Titan, even the dummies I work with are saying "I heard these things have balls!". Most are the typical "Buy American" crowd that is to naive to comprehend their vehicle of choice is owned by Germans and built by 5 dollar a day Mexicans.

GOOD KILLS!!

Nothing like beating your bosses a$$!! Watch it though, you might not get that next promotion or raise!!...lol

And you're right TOK about the 'word'. I was at the gas station (my second home) the other day, and a younger guy driving a new Honda Accord V-6 said to me, I won't race those things-they're fast! I know the Accord would probably hand me my a$$, but what the heck...

Now, you beat him with a mop handle and tell him if he EVER calls you a púƒƒ¥ again you'll kill him while he's asleep, then send him to "thetruethabouttrucks.com" and tell him to watch the part about the frame. He better be careful with that fragile little Chevy....

BTW, powderp420, good race/kills.
