Popped the cherry

I was driving home from work and I have finally learned to obey the speed limit at all times almost. I'm 24 and feel that I have finally matured as a driver. Well I look in my rear view mirror and I see this brand new extended cab f-150 tail gating the crap outta me. When I say he was tail gating me, i mean we were a Nissord F-1Titan. I usually brake check guys like that but was coming up to my turn so I said screw it. Well he ended up turnin with me and flies passed me and we both catch the red light. I see that its some punk high school kid with a brand new f150 w/5.4 triton or whatever with the temp tags still on it. I look over and he is checking out my truck and starts laughing. He starts inching toward the line so I know that he was trying to race. I wasn't a 100% sure so I wanted to wait and see. Sure enough, the light turns green and he opens it up wide open throttle and jumps out to about 2 car lenghts ahead of me. I than opened the endurance up and closed my gap faster than a virgin on prom night. I ended up takin a good 3 car length lead. By the time we got a red light together he made sure to stay in the farthest lane away from me as possible. It felt pretty good b/c I was pretty pissed off that he laughed at me. What kind of power does the 5.4 put out b/c it wasn't impressive at all.

good kill, I did the same in a 3 truck race with a 2500 silverado. That piece F150 was no way in the race from the start...

claimed 300hp and 365lb/ft.
Actual rear wheel hp is a lil over 200hp and im not sure about the torque that is stock of course.
They do much better with a Tuner however especially when you take the really restrictive air intake off. Done right they can really move.
Obviously that idiot had no clue lol. Nice kill.

around here, either everybody's heard/knows about the TITAN or nobody cares....i can never get a race....except when the better half or baby is w/ me and that is not going to happen....if i want to be stupid, then i will do it all by myself....

I feel your pain!!! can't even get the ricers to look up at me.. Hemi's and F-150's only seem to show up when the wifey's around... She knows what's up, stops me dead in my tracks..

I have beat a hemi or two but most the time cant get them to play with me.On the other hand theres always some ricer to play around 1/2 throttle with.It's always fun to keep right on the side of them and right when they think thier gonna pull away floor it and bye bye. Titan is straight up an a$$ kicker even stock with that super restrictive airbox and factory y pipe.
