Re: tacoma x-runner lost 3 times

Yeah, we do need cooler weather bad....You may hand me my a** if I don't get going on some slicks. I got rid of my OEM 18's I was running on last year and now have some bigger heavier OEM 20's. I'd be lucky to run 13's with these, but I have 2 16's for slicks if I can afford them and 2 17's for the front. Shooting for a 13.6-13.7 NA...Its going to be tight trying to afford these slicks though, so we will see

You gonna go cheater slick, full on slick or drag radial 05? I can get you a discount on a pair from m/h if you like.

Good run, though. Smoked his *** fair and square.

And food for thought: here's the guys run this past March in belle rose, Louisiana @ import face-off @ no problem raceway:

Micah Peavy – 11.443 @ 122.39

It's a Red GT-R and he set the stock world record with that run. It's possibly been beaten now, but you won't find much faster than that stock
Yeah that GT-R in the vid was kind of weak...

I raced a GT-R a while back and It ran 11.3 at 135 mph so it definitely wasn't stock. I kind of would have liked to see what it would have ran without a craptastic 60" that was slower than the T. There is a time slip and a few videos on here somewhere from when I ran it...

Edit: found it and there is a lot of other BS from that day though

Went to the Track and raced a 2009 GT-R...

And I'm just waiting for you to hit 13.5 NA 0-five lol

I don't even know the difference between cheater and regular slicks.....I guess just regular slicks is what I'm looking for. I was looking at these:
Mickey Thompson - 3796 - Mickey Thompson ET Street (28X11.50-16LT) - Speed Engineering Performance Parts

Nissan Titan vs Toyoa X-Runner - Car Videos on StreetFire

well i would like to race the guy in riverside. im sure the kid didnt know how to drive. but i am a member of clubtitan.org and actually go racing with them at irwindale. so since your from riverside and im from riverside. this should be fun. titans and x-runners are actually a good race so i dont see why the bashing. ill beat most titans from a roll but there are a few out there that are monsters. well i hope your up for the race, its all in good fun

Re: tacoma x-runner lost 3 times

I know that Chris has been here for a while and has been racing with Steve for a long time.

Some of the Titan guys know that i used to own an Xrunner.. It was a fun truck but simply not big enough. The titan is a fun truck just like the Xrunner so like caliknight said, there is no point in bashing eachother.

I bought a project car so the chances of the Titan ever going down the track again are pretty slim. I might do it with stock tires just to see what i can do but i think running low 8's in the Trans Am is going to be a lot more fun than mid 9's in the titan at irwindale.

No, lol. My weight doesn't make that much of a difference at all. Would have been same out come either way. If was like 250-300 lbs, then it would have made a difference. lol
