Those of you who live in Norcal know that it rained pretty hard yesterday. Well yesterday i was at the last light before this 4 mile stretch of straight road. Well i had the car already in auto i had vdc on and that was it. This hemi ram rolls up and starts revving his engine crazy. When the light turned green i floored the hell out of the the Qx and she took off like a dart with minimal no wheelspin and the car kept me straight and true. The Hemi was WAYYYYY behind me just spinning his tires like crazy. I kept her at a steady 115 until the next light. I start off like normal and pass the next light and I see his lights closing in on me fast and he does a loser fly by. To tell ya truth i was expecting more from the hemi.
That VDC is nice. Score another plus we have over the competition. I'm not too crazy about racing in the rain or taking it up that high on a wet road, but nice kill just the same.

I always turn off the VDC if I'm feeling spunky on the line, what do you mean nice? as in racing? If you have VDC on and you hit it to hard, it cuts power. I always figured on "manualing" it when racing, to avoid the VDC cutting power if I start spinning. I always figured I can correct quicker than the VDC. Am I wrong?

Unlike the Titan the Qx/Armada have all mode 4wd so the car leaves it in 4wd everytime you start off in "AUTO" mode. The 4wd had plenty of grip so the Vdc didnt really need to cut in.
Is this supposed to be a kill you are proud of? It was RAINING and RWD sometimes spins. Take your titan equal with the hemi and you would lose. God, stupidity here.

Nice, another one of you guys on here. Original name too

No what's stupid is that a hemi pick up would try to pick on a QX...while the QX is fairly quick for a big SUV, why would you rev at an SUV? And what's more stupid is that the hemi guy knew it was wet...

Because like a lot of ram owners he feels the need to strut everywhere he goes, like a rooster.
Like the idiot on 26 the other day with his fake hood scoop and his "Yeah, it's got a hemi" sticker on his rear window. How about "Yeah, I'm still a punk-azz idiot" sticker instead?

That was my thought as well. Man....And these Titan
guys say I am embarrising myself. If I boasted of
a kill like this (where I admitted I did not spin but the
other guy was all over the road) the guys in this site
would crucify me. And rightfully so.

So someone challenges you, you beat him, and that makes you stupid??? Maybe he didn't know he was at a disadvantage, so he's exempt. You are attempting to use ignorance as an excuse. I think that's a great idea. It covers so many situations, take trolling for instance.
I've owned Dodge, I like them. I took my one Titan test ride equal with SEVERAL "hemi's" and the Titan won. I now own a Titan. I still like Dodge.
But for some reason, I don't feel anything personal against anyone who droves another brand, hell I don't even think about which one is better. I'm just a happy guy in a truck.
If it makes you feel better to come here and troll, then do whatever it takes I guess.
It wouldn't surprise me if you were both 13 year old boys who get excited pretending you own a vehicle.

Uh, it was RAINING. The road was slick. The other guy was slipping all over the place. VDC is why he had the huge advantage. It controlled the throttle so it did not break loose. Traction wins, slipping loses.
Yes, if you are running on a dry road and want to have some fun with the guy in the next lane, turning VDC off is good. I hope no one is out there with the VDC turned off in the rain, racing or not. VDC + wet road = nice.

Simple answer, he has a small penis so he needs to show everyone that his truck is faster.
