I know it...But I'm happy though because I can easily beat a stock srt-10 with my current setup.

Re: I just KNOW it had to be one of you guys.

I pulled out a 13.8 way back when i gave it a try for ****s and giggles. Bone stock other than better brake pads.

It was fun but not something I'm really into. This is no quarter mile car that's for sure.

Thats cool...My truck went 13.9 last year, but I now have a cam and e-fan, so I'm hoping to pull a 13.6 N/A with traction and a 12.4 (125 shot) again if I can get traction.

So, my question to the Dodge enthusiasts is this...
Why is it the Hemi falls flat when its carrying weight, or towing?
It has power, but only when it's not asked to pull or haul. Some have said it's got a car motor, not sure what that means, but could it be a torque issue?
I still think it is over zealous torque management cutting the power even more when it feels the extra strain. It still gives it enough to get the load moving but not enough to tear up the tranny.

I know dodge/DiamlerChrysler got tired of replacing the transmissions in the previous generation rams.

I've heard some report that the hemi rams seem to have crazy HP after unhitching their heavy trailer. Like it takes a while for the PCM to realize the extra weight is gone.

Just a theory.

I bet you can watch your fuel guage needle move too

How many G's can you pull on a corner in that thing?

The mileage actually isn't bad. I got 17.5mpg on the way back from LA after doing the install. I went about 85mph the whole way back, so I am very happy.

I dont take my truck around many corners going fast though...I only race on straight roads because I dont trust the other drivers if we are going fast around a corner.

I bet that little honda will fly around corners...I always thought it was cool to see cars do that without going sideways.

WOW...I can't believe this thread went from a good race to guys bickering about weight. You sound like a bunch of women. I say we all chip in and place a banner ad on The Bush (190) . Maybe we find him.

I think we have created an urban ledgend. i-just-know-had-one-you-guys-batboyfbi.jpg
