i got spanked by a mirage.the danm thing souded like crap like no muffler paint all beat up.but that thing halled a$$.it pulled out in front off me on a main street with a 350 z they take off from a dead stop and they are head to head all the way.and that z looked souped up with ehaust and flared out wigs and all. so i turn and he turnes the same direction so i said oh what the hell lets try.**** light turned green we are rolling off i gun it he guns it im up by a bumper when he through second gear he blew my doors off.i could not catch up he kept getting further and futher.i dont know what he had under that hood but it was fast.i should of know better after he did what he did to the z.know im dropping my cow off at the shop on monday to get me a supercharger put on.all the mods i have and get blowed by a mitsubishi mirage 1980 what ever it was NO FREAKING WAY

If it was that fast, it's still going to smoke you. Instead of spending 5 grand on a supercharger, buy your own beater like a 93 5 liter Mustang notchback for the same cash. Starting out with a 2000 pound weight disadvantage leaves you nowhere to go. If you were just looking to beat up on other pickups, my opinion would be different. A full size pickup is futile against truly fast cars.

PS... I know someone will chime in with that 1000 horse 2wd Chevy pickup, but that dude probably has 30 grand in mods on that thing, including a non-Chevy aftermarket block. If he put that engine in a Camaro, he would have been much better off.

dont feel bad. a friend of mine has a dodge colt that has a big a$$ turbo on it and he has spanked just about everything so far. He wants to race a hyabusa on the highway once he gets the suspension done. it looks like a junker but that motor will hall ***
