Nice kill....well uuuh...or not! You should have raced him.....well as long as there were no cars anywhere in sight in Downtown San Antonio, you should always be safe . Welcome to the Titan Talk. I am sure there will be many more challanges to come. And just as many other trucks looking at your tailgate as you go by them!!

Congrats on your truck. You will love it. And congrats on the wisdom to let her get broken in before taking on the likes of that guy.
You don't need to spell or punctuate to win a race. And you don't need to spell or punctuate to use this board. But it would really help us better understand what you are saying if you try to be just a little more clear.
Welcome and have a great time with your truck and with this board.

No problem!! Been there myself at times. Probably
good that you did not race him. Don't totally
baby the truck. After 60 miles or so short bursts
of WOT are good for break in. I don't mean WOT
for long periods of time. Lets say your rolling along
at 40 mph. Hit the gas to WOT for a couple of seconds
then let off. To many people think that totally pampering
their new vehicle gives them a good break in. All that
I have read states just the opposite. That is after the
first 60 to 80 miles.

I agree totally, run it hard. After the engine has warmed up to normal temp, so the oil is flowing well, run it hard light-to-light.
Re: 1 day old and one chevy down? im going to love this truck
I've been told by many people that the dealers/manufacturers don't use "break-in" oil anymore because the newer engines aren't like the old ones. That is not to say it should not be changed before the 3750 recommended mileage, but that's a whole other thread. All have said to not baby it excessively. Drive it like you're going to drive it for the entire time you own it. Discretion is required, of course, but babying the right pedal is not.

this truck is awesome
Yeah, it's somewhere between 112 and 120, depending on who you ask.... Do a search. There's a thread or two on this.
