War StoriesThis section is for discussion of any races you may have particpated in. If you smoked someone like a pack'o'cools, let us know. Likewise, if you got beat... let us know by what, so we can keep an eye out for it next time.
You got a Cummins or a Hemi? Cuz I said I already said I had my respect for D-boys. But if your wanting to race me and my truck, lets see how your truck does all stock and with an exhaust and K&N drop in only. I'm in the San Fernando Valley.
I was responding to Hemi4me's challenge to you. He wrote that on 3/31 and no one had answered yet after a while. As for racing your truck I must decline as I dont have a fast truck yet, but I'm working on that one, 1981 Dodge Motorhome that I'm going to try and get in the 14's.
But if you feel frisky, I have a couple of cars that are kinda quick that might keep up with your truck, they both run a higher mph in the 1/8th than your truck does in the quarter.

My mechanic's Duramax went 14.80 in the 1/4 with just a programmer and drop in K&N filter. It could have went faster but he couldn't leave any harder because it would just burn rubber. 2500HD with the 6.0L don't do anything but burn a $h!t load of gas.

Maybe not, but if your heading to point B it's the quickest way there.

What's the matter kid, you talk alot about your storybook kills, but when a real race comes along like Hemi4me or my Motorhome, all I hear is insults, and wait...
what was that...crickets?
Hey, you said you were looking for a race, you found one.
What's the deal pilgrim?

I'll take Hemi4me's request to race me. But I know he will beat me cuz his truck has all the bells and whistles. But I'll race him.
Palmdale is an excellent venue. Maybe you guys could make a party of it and bring all your friends. Make sure and check the track schedule and don't be shy about asking for help with staging your truck. Good Luck.
