Uh, ok, Drag racing secrets? LOL. Cheating secrets, maybe.
LOL No cheating here.. I grew up 4 miles from Milan Drag way.. Just about spent my childhood there.. When your around it that much you tend to learn some thing's...
Good to be back.. Ive been working so damn much and Messing around with the truck.. To even look at the puter I haven't hardly been on DTW either.. Yes I got a 6.1 cam.. But I installed it after this run.. I went crazy with mod's.. I wanted a before and after.. To kind of pace my progress..
WOW!!
What's your 1/4 mile times now?
The Titan mods have improved, slightly.
There's decent headers available now, and of course, the Stillen SC. A member has created a turbo set-up, but still working on it. It's pretty sweet! He's running a 13.8 with 5pounds of boost, and traction issues!
But, not good programmer, YET! I'm holding out for that!!

So, what exactly is a drag racing secret? I have gone over some basics with some posts before, but I didn't get into the quirky stuff like staging at an angle for increased rollout or staging shallow for better e.t., I also mentioned changing front tire air pressures to manipulate rollout.
Is this sort of what you are talking about? Or is it more performance oriented like hidden power adders in the fuel like nitro?

I wish I could come across a S/C Titan.. I wish.. I wish.. I wish...
You can barley beat a reg. Titan, What makes you think you will beat a SC Titan?

Well, with a 200 shot of N2O he could probably hang for awhile, if not beat them.

Oh I'm sorry I dident Know reg Titan's run 12's... I guess I wont say anything else about that... My best last year was a 13.6.. on just a 75 shot.. Isent 13.7 the fastest titan on here or has that been beat yet..

He said "SC Titan", that means "Supercharged". You should spend more time at the track, LOL! Just kidding. So, with a 200 shot, where do you set your timing? I'm guessing about 28-30 degrees total?

I got a smt6 for the timing it's a piggy back system with a laptop program.. I adjust it as needed.. But not that much.. I'm only at like -9 area.. and she runs good there.. I also have a much colder plug in it.. Some of the guy's aren't even adjusting any timing and running 250 shot's.. with good results.. Crazy F's ... I also have my cam custom ground for N20..

This is something close.. and a couple of performance tricks.. Like shutting down right after staging and starting it back up a Computer thingy... A little assembly lube on the belt's ETC... Just little things like that add up.. No hidden bottles or anything like that..

Cool, I cant believe those other guys are running a 250 shot and just letting the computer take the timing out, they are relying on the knock sensor to retard it after it starts pinging, their engines are not long for this world!
Good idea on the plugs and wider lobe separation on the cam.

Haha! I haven't heard about greasing the belts since 1977! You must be around some old drag racing farts like me! Personally, I forgot about it since I only run an alternator, I can remove the belt.
Good one!
