Hemi rules in Portland....

Ran into one of those idiots who idolizes those two inbreds on the Ram commercials today.
Was just crossing the Markum bridge out of the Vista Ridge tunnel on my way to the Banfield for my morning commute when I see headlights weaving in and out of lanes to catch up to me. I'm making a couple lane changes here and there, signaling, not setting any speed records. I look in my mirror at one point and I can barely see the hidden glow of his headlights behind me, he's so close. We approach the Banfield in a two lane connector and I signal and start to move over to the open lane and the Di*k zips over at the same time but gets there first and tries to punch past me. I ignore and keep changing lanes as he's practically in the bed of my CC now.
On the Banfield now, I'm going with the flow in the left lane, my motto is "The Fast and Courteous".....heh heh....while he's trying every lane he can to move up and somehow get by me, tailgating, braking, switching lanes. Finally after passing a couple cars, I move over to the middle lane and cruise at 70 and he is now free in the right lane, so he just BLOWS by me.
Well, for at least a couple hundred feet anyway. More congestion and no place to go.
I guess this hemi boy got in his fly-by, so technically he won.
Nothing makes a hick look more stupid than trying to pick a fight in rush hour traffic and no one is impressed.

Re: Hemi rules in Portland....

Good Deal Coach.

Rush hour is a big no-no. My blood can boil, but I usually don't react much. I'm a driver for a mini-van pool at work, so I have to keep some manners.

When they are that close, I like to hit the windshield washer. Then at least they have a reason to tail, with their 'Almost Clean' vehicle

I know right where you are talking about. Good job of freeway chess.

I'd say he won the lousy gas mileage contest also.

You should have gave him the thumbs down as he did his fly-by.
