Chevy is serving up some new stuff.

Well, first off, I noticed that Chevy just shot out a new Silverado line-up. Ever hear of the SilveradoMAX. Okay now, since the SS wasn't much of an SS they had to add icing to the cake and make a "MAX"ed out Silverado. They are pulling nearly 350 Hp or maybe higher...dunno but will the Titan be able to beat it? Just wondering if anyone has even raced one yet.

Re: Chevy is serving up some new stuff.

I suspect its only a short time before Chevy brings something to the market that will exceed the performance of the HEmi and Titan, but at what cost?

Dodge has done well to offer a 345HP Hemi at a engine upgrade cost that anyone could afford.

Chevy on the other hand will bring out a higher performance engine, but tie it to a number of interior upgrades and then hit you with a huge engine upgrade fee.

I've long been a Chevy fan, but I must applaude Dodge in offering a Hemi truck that the working man can afford.

I may one day sell my Titan, but Chevy will have to change there marketing to win me back as a customer.

I seen where they bumped the 6.0 up to a 6.2 now .... And it's like 400+ HP and 400+ TQ I'm not sure of the exact Numbers but it's in the 07 Escalade model year.. Now I hope Dodge put's the 6.1 in the ram...

I know this is a Titan site... But the gas Issue... My Dad just bought a Durango with a Hemi 06 AWD with MDS.. and is averaging 25 MPG on the highway... I think this is a good system and would like to see it in more vehicles... But if we all had vehicles that got 40+ MPG I wonder how much gas would be per gallon...And would we be any better off...

Re: Chevy is serving up some new stuff.

I saw a commercial the other day about a new Chevy truck with a "Thunder Pack"? Wasn't paying a whole lot of attention when I saw it (multi-tasking )... but it basically sounded like they just added a factory catback to it.

Web price fully loaded is $37,000. Kinda suprised, I though it would have been over $40,000
