Re: Lifted 2500HD BLACK VS> TITAN

What is the fastest the diesel's can run continuosly without having to tear into the tranny? 14's with no issues is pretty damn quick for a 6-7k pound truck, enough to play with some sport's cars.

mid to low 14's. if you get a fluke tranny maybe high 13's consistently. big tune and tranny high 12's low 13's...im pushing 12's but cant get it to hook, our street night track prep sucks...

Gotta pick your poison sorta eh? Race nighttime and have good weather with a cold track that's not prepped as well as the daytime drags. Race daytime and have killer track prep, but have to wait all the way till the end of the day to make a few hotlap passes in the hot humid temps, cause all they are running is damn brackets, and by the time you run the track prep has already gone down.

yeah i havent matched my best time yet but missed it by .06 3 weeks ago. launch was good but not my best...best is 1.80 60ft and this was a 1.9 but it hopped and i was scared id break something so the next 2 runs were way slower but still pretty good.

in my experience with my truck temp doesnt matter very much it will run the same times if its 98 degrees or 50*

Re: Lifted 2500HD BLACK VS> TITAN

Slicks on the rears and DR's on the fronts and you will be well into the 12's man. What's your wheel/tire combo your using, you airing up the front's and airing down the rears at least?

Think your gonna have to start your own thread soon lol.

lol yep prolly should have started a new thread by now.

i havent had any better luck airing tires down. if i want to get to 12's without nitrous i may have to get slicks but then i didnt get 12's as a daily driver which is my goal.

stock wheels, tires are 265 75 16's yokohama geolandar at's

most LB7's stock will dyno 240 hp not sure tq
most lbz and lmm will dyno 310 hp

only takes a small tune to get the new ones into the low 14's consistently (no tranny needed)
thats a big jump in power through the years. Never followed the diesels but if i got one today it would be the DMax. My dads had powerstrokes forever and i just dont need a truck that big and that rides that rough.

Re: Lifted 2500HD BLACK VS> TITAN

Questions.

1. How do you know he was trying to race you in the first place, maybe he was late for an appointment. i have trucks pass me all the time, dont mean they were raceing...It has to be a race to be a kill

2. how do you know it was his girlfriend in the truck, did you ask him. Could of been his sister, daughter, just a friend, a realy hot Mom......

Just asking?
