Well I was cruzing to go get some grub this afternoon and going about 40...trying to keep the gas conserved you know what I mean! I see this big black chevy 2500HD (NON DURAMAX) lifted coming fast, cutting minivans and soccer mom burbans recklessly. Well, I decided to be a nusence and block the only open lane...going 40. Just then a car moved out of his way to let him by, I hear it, he opens up passing me. Notice, I'm still going 40, and decide to floor it with him about 3 lengths ahead. Well, I WOT and gain distance and when passing him up, I waved at him with a big (YOUR A LOSER) smile . Then my detector picked up a POP radar so I slammed down from my 70 back down to 50. Oh yeah, he had his girlfriend in the car too. SUCKA! Thats two 2500HDs I've taken down! They get the point yet? Still wanna see what happens if I run into a Duramax though. That would be pretty cool.

If it's any 2500 and not diesel then it's going to be terribly slow.....A buddy of mine has a Ram 2500 4x4 lifted on 35" meats and instead of the diesel he got the Hemi. That truck can't get out of it's own way.
I've been wanting to race my boss again. He has a 2500 HD with CAI, Exhaust and Chip. Mite be a tight race ?
Never know, look at the stock times for a Duramax and what a moded chip one can run. Usually if they are modded slightly, that could take a second and a half off their stock times. Stock they usually run 0 to 60 in 9 or 8. 7, if they are modded.

It is a diesel and I think he is on 35's, got a 6" lift as well
I would have never believed this if I didn't see it with my own eyes.......04 CrewCab 2wd Duramax stock ran 16.2 in the 1/4 he then installed the superchips programmer in the staging lanes and ran a best of 14.8 @ 92mph and he said it could have gone faster if he could have got the boost up off the line but when he would do that all it would do is spin.
I believe it, I want to get a Dodge Cummin's twin turbo, but they are way to expensive to fill up and maintain. I'll just have to wait to supercharge my truck. But if prices keep going up, I'm gonna start tuning a Civic Si instead and forget the gas guzzlers!
so far ive raced 2 titans 4x2 both with exhaust/intake... i beat them eveytime by about 3 1/2 trucks
race 1 silverado ss from roll and stop beat it by 2 trucks (i think it was stock)
had tailgate removed w/ dealer plates..
modded 96 civic coupe with (1.8 vtec) gsr swap bolt ons (Intake mani,header,exhaust,ect..) buddys car consistant 14.7-14.8 car.
beat him by 1- 1 1/2 trucks
it funny i bought my truck to tow my racecar trailer / toys. now im racing it.. it fun to beat cars with a 8000 lbs truck..
all ive done is edge juice level 4 and muffler delete on my exhaust..
05 chevy ccsb duramax diesel..

Sinces its a D-MAX with a programmer....your truck should be running 14's consistently! The HDs I've raced are all gas version...never a D-MAX. So I don't doubt your claim. When Powerstrokes, Cummins, and D-max's get on a programmer...their 8.0, 9.0 0-60 times turn into high 6 to low 7 times. Its weird...our trucks don't even have a programmer or even a aftermarket ECU, and our truck has been our for almost 3 years!! After 4900rpm, the computer starts closing our throttle body which means by 6200rpm redline, we got no power...it sucks!
