MY SRT-10 vs. Titan

Well I guess it isn't that much of a suprise I just bought a 2005 Srt-10 truck about 2 months ago. I didn't buy it because of it being a Dodge. I just wanted the fastest production pick-up on the planet. About 2 weeks after I bought it I was heading home it was almost night time but there was just enough light to see other cars. It was a 4 lane highway and a ricer civic pulls up beside me and passes me. I was just about to show the Civic my 8.3 Litre v10, when I see none other than A Nissan Titan in my rear view mirrior. I think Nissan Titans are nice trucks don't get me wrong but! I just had to do it so I waited until the Titan Came up just beside me and I look at the driver ( an old man) and I shook my head I was going about 60 mph and he passed me,then he gunned it, so i let him think he was actually going to have a chance until I tapped the gas then that Titan got to see my new spoiler. The titan was a Regular Cab (black) and I'm a quad cab (Red) so after that I thought howcome Nissan doesn't come out with a truck that can even compare to the Srt-10 but well what can I say Nissan trucks have no power. So it would be even worse if I actually tried. I was looking at another post saying they Could KEEP UP TO AN SRT-10! IN YOUR DREAMS. Oh and 2 days ago I downed a Ford Lightning No Problem What-So-Ever.

So the old man cruised by you and you got on it and passed him? I don't think that qualifies as much of a race.

And how much did you pay for that V-10?? I am sure a hell of alot more than a titan. By the way it's truck, not a race car. And have you ever heard of a break in period, we would hate to see you with a blown engine on the side of the road.

Re: MY SRT-10 vs. Titan

listen man I love Titans I think they are the nicest looking trucks other than Dodge. I would even buy one of them. I paid 59 000$ for my Srt-10 and yes it is a truck but it is made for racing pretty much with the Racing tires and the spoiler and the viper engine. You tell me that is meant for working.

Re: MY SRT-10 vs. Titan

Another proud owner of a German truck that thinks he is one bad dude because he buys a $60k truck (that will fall apart in a couple of years) and can beat a nice old guy in a $25K truck that didn’t even know he was racing – wow…good kill tuff guy! And it is obvious that you really aren’t a truck man because of who you are going after (civics and elderly gentleman) and you don’t even know what kind of truck you are “racing” – there is no “regular cab” Titan. You going to go after my Aunt in her Camry next? Yea, you got 500 hp – you can buy that. You can’t buy class. BTW, what are you lacking that you trying to compensate for anyway?

Re: MY SRT-10 vs. Titan

Hate to break the news to you but you paid 49k for a 14.5 sec 1/4 mile truck LOL I've seen them at the track they are dogs, run like crap and are slow as **** without a supercharger or NOS no thanks I know with a supercharger I'd smoke a srt-10 seen 4-5 at the track and they havent impressed me in the least.. The ford lightnings stock run mid 13.5's so i seriously doubt you beat him, lol
