On my way home from the gym lastnight riding with the windows down jamming some old Metallica, I catch a red light (almost ran it but glad I didn't). As I'm sitting there, I hear a couple revs..I look over and see a chevy extended cab (2005 I'd assume, new body style) and a Dodge QC hemi (yes, I could see the emblem) both looked to be lowered or at least leveled in the rear and the chevy had aftermarket wheels and tires (looked smaller than the dodge's factory 20's; but a sweet looking truck). So their light goes green and they both mash on it (i'm drooling at this point). The chevy had put a truck length on the dodge through the intersection (also noticed the dodge had the "yeah, it's got a hemi" sticker on the back glass). As they continued the chevy continued to pull on him..looked like 2-3 truck lengths then they shut down (well short of a 1/4 mile).. Not sure what mods either one had, but I know they both had aftermarket exhaust due to the exhaust notes coming from both.
I guess his big sticker on the back glass got him in trouble...
Just wish I woulda been lined up with them also, but it was still fun to watch..
haha..yeah, some of them think that way. I'm sure this guy with his big sticker across the back glass thought the same thing..until he got skull drug by a chevy.. I'm sure the chevy was slightly modded to pull away that quickly..but that's racing..

I guess Hemi and Titan owners have alot in common..
LOL...definitely some truth there..haha
With the aftermarket they have for trucks now, i'd be nervous to run any full-size truck. You just never know what the guy in the other lane has.
My titan is bone stock down to the air filter and exhaust, and I know it isn't a "fast" vehicle. I'd guess I run low-mid 15's...many trucks are capable of that.
Just about an hour ago i was on my way home getting on the interstate in the nashville area and there was a 2000 or 2001 dodge KC 4x4--V-8, magnum with his new brother `06 hemi QC, 4x4-( i think it was because it had the bigger hemi/ 5.7 liter emblem up on the fender by the door)... I was in the lane that ended before merging on to the interstate and i could hear both trucks gettin` on it good.. I waited my turn for just a second or two and then hammered the mighty TITAN and caught them pretty quick two lanes over.. They both looked at me like where did you come from? At the same time i heard the `06 kick--( the `00 or `01 was way behind and fading quick) it was two late i had the RPM`s and at about 110mph the new `06 was history.. I wasn`t going to let off because the road ahead was wide open and i have already been up to 130mph and still going so i had to show him who was boss on the open road.. My buddy at the nissan dealer in Tn. took care of me with his computer skills.. BRAKES ARE FOR PUZZIES, HOLD IT WIDE OPEN UNTIL YOU SEE `GOD`, THEN BRAKE !!!

I thought the Titan had the speed limiter set around 112 mph??
