Re: some new mods

I remember buying an electric cutout for my trans am back in the day...never did get to install though...I sold the car before I could and when I could of said $crew that Im gonna sell this car with anymore extra parts...lol...

I wonder what happened to that darn cutout...

If I could find it man I bet itd sound awesome in our trucks...u think it would bother the titan though since doesnt the titan run better with more back pressure (or summin like that)??

Re: some new mods

That is the difference about our site. Most of us here are mature enough not to take everything so personal. Doood I am so jelous! You definetly need to try and dyno this mod cut out and not cut out. More pictres too!

well you could always order just the manual cutout from summit or jegs, and just uncap it when you want or go to the track, and then when you save up the money you can get the electric part later and bolt it up. the manual ones are very very inexpensive.

Re: some new mods

Nice LT's, should be loud as hell with cutouts. Let us know how much you gain from those. Curious to see how the cam swap works. I got a Magnum with the 5.7 and it's got a pretty lumpy idle already. Take a couple sound clips, I wonder how the 5.7L sounds opened up. My Mag's got soo much damn mufflers you can barely hear the engine.

Re: some new mods

i dont know about the dyno's but i can give ya'll some before and after times. right now im at a 14.77. the next time im at the track it'll be with the LT's and cutouts. so you can see what those gain. and then maybe in a month i'll have the cam installed. Hawaii, i've heard the the 6.1L cam gives about 30 extra hp to the 5.7, which isnt too bad considering you dont have to have any extra tuning for these crazy computers
