Recipe for roast truck

So, If I happen to be at a stop light and someone with a hemi
pulls up beside me...

With these automatic transmissions, what's the best(fastest)
way to victory.

Leave it in drive and hold the petal to the metal
or
Utilize the gate shifter and red line each gear.
