Titan vs Chevy C-10

Yesterday I had to follow my wife home. She was in the Titan and I was driving the 1971 C-10. Both are bone stock. The Chev has a 350 with automatic.
While sitting side by side at a traffic light I motion her to race. The light turns green and I get a hole shot of over four lengths. (I caught her off guard while she was checking her makeup in the rearview mirror) She finally gassed it and shot past me before my speedometer reached 70mph. I shut it down around eighty and she had me by at least two lenghts. We get home and she is on the phone to everyone she knows. This is a small town and I have already become known as "The looser". BTW...In recent posts I have displayed negative remarks about the Titan, most specificly, my concerns about reliability. I'm now much much more confident in this truck. I recently towed my 3000+lb boat 600miles in average ambient temperatures of over 100F. The truck performed flawlessly and I averaged 12.5 MPG. (Better than my F-150 5.4) I think I'll keep her.
