My 1st: My buddies Hemi Quad Cab

Alright, so my buddy i lift with has an 05 hemi quad cab, 20in wheels, borla exhaust. We would always joke each other about who would win in a race. Well, it happened yesterday as we headed up to philly and back to grab some furniture.

We both pulled up to a toll booth on a highway. speed limit is 65, so we knew we could get up to about 80 before we would have to let off. we both exit seperate tolls and pull up about 20 yards side by side. I hear him drop the hammer as his exahuast screamed. I do the same, pedal all the way down. I launch by him. at about 30 he was at my rear wheels. by 60 he was at my rear bumper. by the time we were at 85, he had crept back to my rear wheel, and we both shut it down. SO, with him getting the jump, i still out ran him. I gave him soooo much **** when we got to philly. I'll take a pic of his truck tonight. It was a good run though

Sounds like my friends hemi....2 time on a roll...I let him have a half truck lead....thrid time was in a hole...took him out the hole way. I believe he has a Borla also with twin exits. Nice kill.

haha, no, we both were empty. I'll be honest i was a little nervous, hadn't officially played with a hemi yet.

Does he have the tow package? if not that means he probably has the 3.23 gears.. then quad cabs are heavy :P What year of HEMI? the MDS makes a difference on performance.. And i got a muffler you dont usually see.. people usually go with the full kits from gibson which are actually cheaper, Gibson Supeflow, look it up on their site.. I'm not sure about the Borla exhausts, but i've heard good thing about Bassani's also, it's an old friend's dad's company.

i'll find out tonight. Its either an 05 or 06.

Ok sounds like it would be MDS.. new or old look? caus the new look is 06

good kill!! did he have superchips? i know one thing though, when ya'lls programmer comes out it wont be suprising to see almost everyone with one running mid 14's!!

Okay watty, heli made me come back here to write this. he said he thinks you are a pansy and that you can't drive worth a flip. Something about any titan driver could have beaten that guy. Something else about you driving like a girl,. You know I try to tune him out, but it's hard sometimes. Now if you would have had a truckload of furniture that would have been better. Or towing a boat or trailer. LOL Cmon, That guy didn't have a chance, you should have made him cry. Let see you did confess to speeding and street racing, I bet Eric is on the way to your house right now. Kenny and RNP didn't get your story, because they are both drinking again. Rusty is sitting around writing equasions about your kill and adam, well, you probably turned him on. Poor P! he is off drinking Tequila and pondering your kill. You sent Ben off to look for spammers that are spreading falacies about Hemi's power. Well all and all sounded like fun.
