You Win Some & You Lose some. Lost to a Silverado SS.
On the freeway on my way to the gym and I was chilling at 65 on the 2nd lane trying to conserve gas....ha..yeah right. But anyways I see several cars zoom by and in the group was a blue Silverado SS with dual exhaust. I was like dang!!! I wanted to pick this fight so I trailed him until there was some open space. We were already going over 80+ and I finally got next to him and stuck there to give him a clue that I wanted to see what he got. So I heard his exhaust and I punch it....but he kept pulling away then I started gaining cuz we were way over 100 and maybe his speed limiter kicked in??? Dunno I had to get off so I brake off and exited. All I know is that I would of lost it on the street. The truck wasn't stock thats for sure cuz I been up against several SS Silverado's and this one took me by suprise. Oh well...as long as it wasn't a Ford...
Re: You Win Some & You Lose some. Lost to a Silverado SS.
Good for you it wasn't a ford, but I think he was toying with you being he's driving a SS. He probably sending a thread on his furom of a fill that he was playing cat and mouse games with. Damn domestic trucks with all their aftermarket hop-ups.

Exactly right Bull. It's just so hard to know what you're really up against because they have so much to choose from. You're right Brace, you do lose some but keep having fun!

I wouldnt expect the Titan to win on a roll with a SS. Why even try it. You will give them and excuse to say the Titan is slow. Get him on a dead stop from the light and you will suprise him. I believe the Titan will school a stock SS from the light. Then maybe around 60 or 70 the SS will start to gain. Brace you got to stop this racing from a roll crap. I will only go from a light or a dead stop. Other than that forget it. Your chances go down considerably racing from a roll.

I know what you are saying and I believe it. Thats why I said I would of had him on the streets...he was already going 80mph and I was next to him and floored it right after. Hopefully COBB or Stillen will finish up on our programmers here soon and we will be able to program our TITANs the way we want.

Not yet...I was planning to do a custom tune for my truck but since COBB is coming out with a programmer where u could upload different fuel maps and program your truck just like a Superchip....I'm going to wait on that. Oh yeah...they have the option to put whatever speed limit you want on it. Once I get mine...I'm gonna set it to 125.

Do you have a link or website for the COBB?

I'm not sure...type in a search on our cite...just type in COBB. Its a fourm that runs on this same server but not our same cite. Very informative about what it can do....probably better than a Superchips....last time I check...there were working on the transmission shift customization. They are well known for Subaru products...WELL KNOWN.
As for our TITAN's being slow at a roll....after 5K...our throttle body starts to close. If you have an intake...you can tell...around 3.5K to 5K you hear the air being sucked in..then all of a sudden the sound is gone. They do this cuz they want a smooth gear change.
