These things have Hemi's too

These cars have a mid engine 2.2 liter hemi in them.
They might not accelerate as well as a Titan, but beware of the handling and braking, especially the wagons. The wagon has a 1500 pound payload capacity.

Made ya look didn't I? At least I gave you a picture.

Re: These things have Hemi's too

So do the 3TC engines from the 71-74 Corollas, they have "TRUE" hemi heads. Those little four bangers run 9's with a turbo.

Re: These things have Hemi's too

Three Citroens....first one is a DS 21 Palais, the center one is an ID 19 wagon...the one at the left is either a DS 21 or an ID 19.

Citroens have had a full hemi head designed 4 cylinder engine since 1955.

What is unique about these cars is the suspension....it"s an air/oil combo with a built in height adjustment. Probably the most comfortable road car ever made. They can be driven with one rear wheel removed, without any sag.

The Citroen Traction Avant introduced in 1934 was one of the first production front wheel drive cars.

My father was the West Coast Citroen/Maserati distributor for over 20 years.

The Pigouts notwithstanding, I'll take one of the Alfa's in the background. Nice cars!

Re: These things have Hemi's too

I haven't seen one of those type Citroens in years around here. It's a body style that for some reason, I've always liked. It's oddly attractive. However, I'm with BB^^. I'll take one of those Alfas please!

Re: These things have Hemi's too

Aye,
You can take a rear wheel off them, and they will still drive at road speeds.

I noticed the troll was a registered user, but I suspect that may have been a typo, in that the L was left off.

Citroen was not owned by Pu-ked till the 1980's....so when the pictured cars were built, Pu-ked (Peugeot) was not in the picture.
