HI guys I am new to the forums . I have a 2006 Black 4x4 Titan that I love. I bought it after reading how much you guys love them so I drove one and bought it that night. Now my problem is that my brother in law has a 2005 Hemi Ram and he walks the dog on me. I have read how all of you guys whoop up on them but he puts the spankin on me. I also lost to one of those old boxy Lightnings but that is to be expected. I guess I will leave the racing to the real racecars like Mustangs and Camaros and stick to what my truck was designed to do like hauling rock, mulch and trailers. I know it is no race car and feel like a tool going around trying to race Tundra's,Hemis, and the like. But I am curious why does my bro's Hemi put the smack down on me. Do I have a Lemon or is this normal. Thanks
Could be a case of driver error or truck is a bit too new to race yet or the hemi has some mods....If you are a CC racing anything else but a CC the weight difference will turn the odds in his favor..."Keep smokin them hemis"
Contrary to what you may read in our forum, there are many factors that go into winning a race with a Hemi or any other vehicle.
Driver skill-getting a good jump.
Truck capabilities-stock, weight, mods, tires, gear ratio,
A Hemi is a good truck and there are tons of mods that if used, will tip the scales in their favor for sure.
A stock Hemi and you will be a much closer race if it's CC to CC (their Quad Cab to ours)
Have fun with it, be safe, and when you decide to mod and be stealth about it, maybe you can surprise a few of your competitors.
If I race a Rumblebee or Lightning, I will expect in a straight up race to see their tailights within the 1/4 mile... Give me 2 truck lengths and maybe the results would be different...who knows!
Good hunting!

With only 1 post on his record he has alot of credility to earn. A thread stating he keeps losing to a hemi is pretty bold....just like KCredtitan...
I agree 100%, a hemi guy in disguise.

Take it out of "park" and put it in "drive". Should solve your problem.
