Nissan v. Dodge Ram 2500...laughable - being discussed at Nissan Titan Forums in the War Stories section.

Nissan v. Dodge Ram 2500...laughable
This morning on my way to class I'm stopped at a light in the downtown area (45mph Limit). This older guy, rolls up beside me in a new Ram 2500, and guns it when the light goes green. Honestly I'm not one who races at every light or much at all for that matter, but when I saw the look the guy shot over at me, as if to say "you're import has nothing on me", I felt my right foot become extremely heavy...as if overtaken by some force of extra-gravity.

I think you all know what happened next, I proceeded to bury him again at the next light before taking my turn-off to the next road over, and firing a grin his way while shaking my head...even though it's full on winter here right now the roads are pretty well ice-free mostly...so blowing his doors off was not a problem, even in 2wd.

NOT EVEN CLOSE! (as if that's any surprise...)

Nice Kill. 2500's come with a Hemi too. Must of really believed the dodge commercials. I killed a 2500 Hemi with my '98 Chevy 4x4. Too much weight and too much driveline loss.

I raced one!! At the track he ran a 15.46 with exhaust, CAI, and Superchips.

I ran a 14.97.

but seriously, if i had a titan, the 2500's and the stock 1500's quad cabs really dont offer much of a race to either a KC or CC titan

Nicely done... you know, if a 1500 has a hard time staying with us, what does the extra 1000 added to the number do for the doors? They add a little more weight to keep the doors attached so they don't get blown off as easily...

nice kill. i've had my truck since july and nobody has ever tried to race me.

...gues the ol' Titan just has too much Intimidation Factor.

hey ak titan, i am in anchorage also i get that alot too.....mainly from dodge drivers, i don't even waste my time with dodge 2500 anymore, 1500 thats a different story.........and if you ever notice you get called out alot just because u drive the titan, anyways safe driving..........

lol same thing happend to me last night on the expressway. This 2500 with HID's pulls up really hard and fast right up behind me - lingers then pulls around giving me the look - i saw his 2500 badge and i sign languaged him a 2 then a 5 then a shoo fly shoo flip of the wrist. I did give him a little banks roar but there was too much traffic and a 2500 would be a spankfest. Oh yeah i still have my halloween batttle gear on.
