damn finally 15 lol
next year i hope to get my speed mods for the year done and put a 1'' front, 2'' rear drop on it. the only exterior mods so far are a painted wiper cowl (was black like the mirrors) and the clear corner signals
and the nappy rusted exhaust tips are now gone, and replaced with nice shiney ones and the fender wells are clean

thanks... and its a Gen III Gen II looks like shoe box. only times i was at the track it was back in the summer, humid as hell and about 80* lol. did 15.45 @ 87.xx with a 2.2 60' on the stock 255/55/17 goodyear RSA's. the same day there was a nbs silverado SS running 15.4 flat and a stock.. i think lightning running 14.80's.
i havent ran the truck on the strip since it has been stock, to be honest i dont expect anything more than a low 14 on the stock PCM and intake manifold... they went and closed everything down on me track wise here in central kentucky lol. trucks with similar mods to mine only with stock heads have ran 13.1 with a reflashed pcm and intake manifold. so next year with the pcm, intake, and a 3k rpm stall... im hoping for 12's, then ill probably wait another year and juice it and go for 11's.... then pray my tranny dosent throw a **** fit lol
are any of you guys from kentucky? im actually pretty curious as to how these titans run... never saw one get on it in person.

I had a friend that had a 1990 5.2L Dakota. I thought
that was the I Gen. body style?? Very boxy lines and
curves on that year. So the new Dakota's are 4th Gen??
I know they are ugly as hell.
I would think with your mods you should be in the
flat 14 second range. With good air. You might
even be in the high 13's. Depends on traction I
guess.

The Dakota fanatics throw another Generation in the mix compared to Chrysler's classification. Dakota fans split the Gen I Dakota. I think they consider the 1991 the start of Gen II, that's the year Chrysler offered the 5.2L V-8 in all models.
FWIW, the only Daks. that came stock with the 5.9 were the R/T's and a limited number of 4X4s. There are no stock 5.9 4X2 Dakotas other than the R/T.

I know their are no 5.9L Dakota's other than the R/T.

Didn't mean to direct the FWIW at you specifically. Some earlier posts were posing that the Dak in dman's post was a 5.9.
Actually when you consider that no Dak came with dual exhaust from the factory and he said there wasn't any badging, he could have actually met a modded V-6. There are quite a few sub 15 sec. V-6 Daks out there that will crank out sub 14s with the giggle juice.

I seen a modded V6 Dakota turning high 14's
without the juice. Granted, it had quite a few
mods though.

"thanks... and its a Gen III Gen II looks like shoe box".I know Where a SHOE Box GenI & GenII is Right now and both run low 12's and yes they are N/A and yes one is a V6 care to come to Da Bayou??
Something I have observed, A lot of us Titan guys are old or still Dakota owners Dodge should have never changed the 91-96 style! But this thread was started for a good reason a stock Titan is faster or about the same as all STOCK 91-2006 Dakotas and yes that counts the GenIII R/T's!
You are right. A lot of us are mopar fans (or ex mopar fans) I still like Dodge. They just didn't deliver in the power dept in '04. At least the 5 or 6 Hemi's I drove. I had a '97 Dakota and I like that body style the best, but the square ones were nice too. Seemed like they had a bit more interior room as well.
