Late 90's F-150 = no chance
OK, now dont give me too hard a time. I know a last gen F-150 is nothing, but I live in a rural area and there arent too many roads with more than two lanes to actually do any fun stuff.
I pulled up at a four way stop that is at the bottom of a 2 mile 8% grade hill with a slow lane for trucks. I was behind this late 90's F-150 in the fast lane and as we started up the hill he wouldnt move over. I then politely put my blinker on and started passing him on the right (it is legal if you stay in the slow lane til the top of the hill then merge when the lane ends). As I did that he floored it as I heard his lame duel straight pipes cackle. So I gave it about 3/4 throttle to kick it into 2nd gear and put about half a dozen truck lengths on him before 65 mph . I wasnt sure if he was really trying, but later I took the long way to the next town and he took a short cut road that I usually take. Turns out I drive passed his turn on again and he's hopping mad in this truck as I drive by. Pointing and I'm assuming swearing at me. So I guess its a kill, but I'm holding out hope I can get one of my neighbors QC Hemi's to race one of these days. It was fun none-the-less
