Re: Beat a F250 Turbo Diesel on the way to work this morning
He had to be modded for him to stick until 65. I raced one before and it had me off the line....until 65....I just walked him....if he was a seriously modded truck...I would of been smelling is carbon.

Hey BRACE, you bring up an interesting point. What do you consider the difference to be between modded and heavily modded? Bet this varies with everyone FWIW my truck really launches at about 50mph it seems to get quite a boost around that speed.
Re: Beat a F250 Turbo Diesel on the way to work this morning
not to stick up for any turbo diesels, my father drives a 06 superduty that has a full 7 inch custom exhaust, edge w/ attitude programmer and a air-raid CAI. my TITAN does not even stand a chance untill we pass 95 mph when his speed limiter kicks in. some turbo diesels are wicked fast. i have seen some T-D's that are propane injected that run sub 13 1/4 mile times..... beware of T-D's
Re: Beat a F250 Turbo Diesel on the way to work this morning
i've seen some turbo diesels run 10's on just chip, propane injection and nitrous with a 4" exhaust.. these trucks can make serious torque lots.. think 1500+ thier hp is only 700 range though
