Talking First race in the Titan..

So it's not that big of a defeat but it's always fun to win..Me with my new TRX 450 20 extra gallons of fuel, and all my gear, against a little 03 or 04 Honda civic 2 door 5 spd from a roll of about 5 mph to about 85, i never really gunned it just kinda cruised next to the guy toyin with him till around 70then i gunned it and ran away from him to 85 ish then when we stopped at the next light he was sayin oh i almost had you i just kinda laughed and said yeah..almost. not a big kill but still fun especially since most of the race i was beyond 3/4 throttle.

Re: First race in the Titan..

LOL, for a minute I was thinking you beat him on your quad until I saw the 20 extra gallons part. It might have been close off the line with your quad.

Nice Kill, we know how you feel

btw the TRX must have the newer generation high revving 4 stroke???

I ride my bud's Kaw KFX450. It's really amazing the power these things have. 3 times the powerband of a 2 stroke, and it feels just as light. I'm sticking with my tried and true '03 Wolverine for now. It's not a rocket, but it is a tried and true 10 year old design.

Yeah the TRX has the high revving 4 stroke, it's a blast, however this is the first sport quad i've ever owned, i've always rode dirtbikes, so learning to ride a quad is really different and it's a little short for me since i'm 6'5" the distance between the seat and the pegs is real short so when i stand i have to stand waaay up and it's kinda uncomfortable..but it's still a great ride.

what your location man? i sell honda/yamaha/suzuki bikes/ats for a living. good choice on the TRX its a strong unit. it will last a long time as long as you keep the valves in spec.

actually, wrong! take a look at the 07's. the new LTR from suzuki is the highest reving (fuel injection) and the new 07 TRX is the fastest one. dont get me wrong the YFZ is a great bike but the other manufacturers have really stepped up this year. the YFZ is in need of a make over and i sense it soon.

that lasted for about a year and then they split off. thats why suzuki does not offer a drz-110 anymore (example).
