Jan 1st Sac Raceway Results

Well it was a VERY busy day at the track!!!! I was there for almost 5 hours and only got in two runs.

The first run was horrible. I launched and just set there and spun the tires. She did finally hook up and did the following.

Reaction: .221
60' 2.52 .........see I didn't hook worth crap!!
1/8 9.95 @ 73.11
Then my truck decideds to run like hell!!!
1/4 15.28 @ 93.25

Surprised I finished that well with this horrible start...I was very disappointed though. I have never ran this bad at the track.

So as I sit for an eternity waiting to run again I finally get my chance. The start was a little wet from people going through the water so I did a small burn out to clean my tires off.

She hooked this time!!!!!

Reaction time .258
60' 2.13....now that's more like it!!!!
1/8 9.533 @ 73.321
1/4 14.840 @ 92.302!!!!!!! Yeah baby....new best for me!!!!

Rossi

Re: Jan 1st Sac Raceway Results

It seems to be getting stronger. My 60' times are pretty good.

She likes your Injen intake!!!!!! I think Shailey is right....more low end TQ with it.

Gee and think...I was ready to throw it away when it was new...would only run 16.1's!!!!

Re: Jan 1st Sac Raceway Results

Those are nice times Rossi! Is your truck a 4x4 or 4x2? Do those QX56 tires hook allot better then the stock Titan tires? I always wonder how you guys can get such good 60ft times in 2wd, I can only get 2.1's in 4HI. Guess I need more practice.

Nice new time!! So if I were to take Int. #80
east from the Bay area. Which exit would I
take to get to the raceway?

Re: Jan 1st Sac Raceway Results

I don't know if there is a better way to get there as I used to live in Folsom but haven't been to the speedway since i was 14 but if you can get to I-50 instead of 80 and take the sunrise exit. It can be kind of tricky getting to the speedway though if you don't know where you're going, that place is in the middle of nowhere.

Re: Jan 1st Sac Raceway Results

Thanks for the input guys! Sounds like I stay to the
left when I#80 east gets into west sac. The right
lanes go over the highway and take you to Rocklin,
Roseville, Reno etc. The left lanes take you into
town and also ties in with Hwy #50.

Thanks, Maybe one of these days I might try
and get over there. It's going cost me some
$$$ in gas to get there. Even more running
down the track. I can damn near watch my
gas gauge go down when I do my SC DAQ
runs. Really sucks the fuel at WOT.

Infinion Raceway in Sonoma is very close
to me but it's always windy there. And most
of the time it's a head wind. When I get a
track slip I want the conditions to be jussssst
right! LOL!! Check out my new DAQ times in
my sig!! Pulling the spare tire and jack really
does make a big difference. So I cheated!!!
I need all the advantage I can get to run
with you UpRev boyz!!

No I live in a suburb of Vegas now. I vist folsom freequently though and perhaps I could make a run there because the speedway in vegas is at 2200 ft and sac is at like 17ft haha. My times should be alot better there.
