Just Beat A 05 Tundra Trd Cc

I SAW HIM COMING UP IN MY MIRROR AND NEW WHAT I HAD TO DO..A LIL MORE THEN A 1/4 MILE BEAT HIM BY HALF A TRUCK I HAVE A 05 CC SE, KEEP UP THE GOOD STATUS GUYS..

You had better have beat him, he only has a 4.7L vrs. your 5.6L and the 05 DC is way to heavy for that engine to perform well.

Well, lets see if its a 5.7....why would he post this thread if the truck was a 4.7?

I just got talking last night with a guy who's on the same page after my son's little league game.

He's raced a few times and says it holds its' own. It's the 4.7. He shows me the GVWR on the door that says 6600 lbls and I say that's a fully loaded truck, not how much your truck weighs.

Anyway I have a cracked manifold but still may race him since this guy seems pretty stoked. I told him the only thing that may hold me back is the manifold, but I honestly thought I'd still take him. Maybe I'll get some video this time

You would have to ask him that question. As everyone should know the 5.7 wasn't available until the new Tundra went on the market in Feb.He said he raced a 05 Tundra, that only comes with the 4.0L V6 or the 4.7L V8.
