Smoked a Silverado today

Was driving around today, and a 03-04 Silverado came up behind me with 2 young guys in it. They got up next to me, then all the sudden I heard their exhaust get very loud (it was dual aftermarket), and they took off so they had about a 1 truck jump on me...We were going about 50mph when he floored it. Well I floored it and passed him pretty quickly. I was probably going 90 when I slowed down for the red light. The Silverado didn't want to pull up next to me at the red light, so he pulled into the gas station, and exited out the other side (instead of coming to the light to make a right turn - it's not like anyone was next to me either, I was the only one at the light). Nothing like a puppy who runs away with his tail between his legs.

I have no idea what kind of engine it had, but I know it was a stock height 4x2 with dual exhaust, extended cab like mine (not crew cab)

Oh yea, then I went over to this mudfield to check it out
I guess the Silverado didn't expect to lose to a lifted Titan!

they went to the gas station to fill up and found out that they had another gas station that sold premium for 3 cents cheaper.

Good kill man. AgTitan06, your truck looks great! If you ever see a black '05 four-door Duramax Chevy with a middle-aged guy driving flashing his lights at you in College Station that'll be me, so pull over and say hi. Your truck should be easy to spot! Of course, I need to get back from my deployment first. It would be cool to meet some of you guys as long as you don't mind being seen talking to someone driving a "Chebby"

Hey man, sounds good to me!
I won't be back to College Station until late August. I'm working in Houston all summer. I actually had been living in Somerville, and commuting to College Station, but when the new semester starts I'm gonna move to College Station - I am tired of this 30 mile commute to get to campus, so I'm sure you'll see me around.

If it has a Z71 sticker on the rear pannel it's a 5.3. I don't know about the 4.8. The 6.0 usually has a Vortec Max sticker on the driver/passenger side door I think. The Silverado SS also has the 6.0 so it will have the SS badges on the door and tailgate. It would be nice if they put the engine size on the door like the Titans do.

Good kill by the way
