Not a race, just showing respect.

I was heading home yesterday and noticed a silver Dodge Ram tailgating my truck. I was in the inner lane when the Dodge decided to pass me in the outer lane. It was a two lane road. I noticed the Dodge was a CCB and had those stripes on the side of the bed in red or orange color. It said something like "Hemi...." I did not pay much attention to it...only that it was a Hemi. I also noticed that it had dual exhaust, probably gibsons, that exited behind each rear tire. There was slow traffic in front of the "Hemi" so it changed lanes behind me and again started tailgating me. I said to myself..what is wrong with this guy? We started up a hill. It was a long stretch of smooth black top. I had enough of this guy. I mashed on the throttle and the Titan woke up. I looked at my rearview mirror and noticed that the "Hemi" was now two car lengths behind. I can tell he's trying to keep up. As we neared the top of the hill, it leveled off. The "Hemi" finally caught up and changed lanes to the outer to pass. As he got about a car length behind me, I again mashed on the throttle. The "Hemi" again was left behind. I slowed for him to catch up. He changed lanes and was behind me. I mashed it again and left him behind about two car lengths. I slowed and waited for the him to catch up. The "Hemi" changed lanes on the outer lane and rolled down his window. I rolled down mine and the guy yelled "that's a bad truck!" He then gave me a thumb ups and turned off the next intersection. I dont go around bullying trucks out in the streets just because I have a Titan, but some of those "Hemi" boys just have to learn to show respect.

Re: Not a race, just showing respect.

Nice!
There still are guys out there that don't know much about the Titan. I have a good friend who has a Hemi Quad cab.
He joked with me one day about racing. He said "I have a Hemi you know". I told him a little about the Titan and he was surprised to hear that they were that fast. He had no idea.

Re: Not a race, just showing respect.

I work with a guy who was convinced his 4.7 ltr ram could outrun my titan kc. I heckled him and he was convinced, also thought he could out tow it. Never pushed it to a test, probably cause he knows better. Nice kill.

Hafa Adai to you. No, not Rt16, it was Rt 4 up towards Yona village. I guess he thought just because he had a "HEMI" and fancy striping along the side of his bed, he could just bully his way on the streets. Maybe next time he'll think twice about tailgating another Titan.

Just let me know when your on your way here and I'll make arrangements to meet and throw a good island barbebue.
