Silverado Loving Titan Haters Vid

I set up this race to show that guy on youtube what an equal modded race between the two would look like


2007 Titan Mods: Uprev 93 tune, Tru-trac, S&B CAI

2003 Silverado Z71, K&N Drop-in, Superchips and Locking Diff (came stock)

So the only difference is, his wheels are lighter and he does not have a CAI. I am also running lean at the moment. 14:1

My god that 5.3 was dog s-l-o-w. Sure it wasn't a 4.8

Chevy really needs to work on their light duty truck engines, another reason why I bought a diesel instead of their gassers. ('Cept the 6.2 in the denali, that thing is awesome. Cant wait for the tune and new headers...)

Yes it was a 5.3 I did race a chevy 4.8 and won by 1/3rd of a track. I nosed out a chevy 2500 modded. Also have beat a ram with headers, cams, cai... You name it I have probably raced it. Don't get me wrong I have had my *** handed to me a few times. I just wanted that guy on youtube to know what the same mods on each truck would do.

Just curious as to what type of a modified 2500 you raced, gas or Diesel? Raced the new 6.2 yet (L92)?

I can't seem to find anyone to race out here, raced one Titan but he just had an exhaust and he got spanked pretty bad, but he was a cool guy. Havent seen him since though. All the Titans around here are stock, with a couple that are lifted or have at least an exhaust. *Sigh* That'll all change when I move back out to Southern Cali later this year though, should be lots of people to have fun with (Titans, Chevy's, Fords, etc...)

It was gas, Thats all I know. The vid is up on youtube. If you could tell me what he had I would appreciate it it was single loss elimination, so I did not get a chance to talk to him.

i raced a 05 duramax that had a CAI and exhaust and i handed him his ***. i even had 325/65/18s on my truck at the time and no timing advance

And how much of his *** did you hand to him? Really, a CAI and exhaust on these trucks isn't the same as it is on gassers, we're already forced induction, the intakes and exhausts only help keep EGTs down.

But, maybe when I head on over to Nellis in a month or two we could meet up and give it a go. Mine has a tad bit more than an exhaust and a CAI.

as far as the mods you have its obvious your going to win but hey ill give it a shot anyways. and if your up to it you can race my best friends cummins.

I'm always looking for people to race, and to talk about trucks. I'll even race your buddy I hope he has more than just a chip and CAI/Exhaust tho (I am sure he does tho, most Cummins guys do... lol)
