First Ticket

Hey guys! just wanted to let you all know I got my first speeding ticket in my Titan. I was only doing 84 in a 65 though, I guess i'll see what thats gonna cost me

19 over? In this state, 16 over is considered "excessive" speeding. The costs go up exponentially after 16. You may be able to take it to the magistrate and plead it down to 15 or 16 to avoid some of the costs and points, but it depends on the mood of the officer. Good luck with it, and be more careful next time. I would say don't speed, but if the points cause you to lose your license, that won't be an issue....

my first was a $298 dollar 52 in a 30. It was ugly, but being a minor I ended up getting off with a $20 fine and 32 hours of community service. Gotta love the Texas legal system, the'll kill anyone but you can get out of all tickets. My parents even drove me to the muffler shop while I was grounded to get dual exhaust on my truck!

Next time, spend some of that money on a really good radar detector if your a speed demon. Valentine 1, Passport 8500 x50, RX65, STI.
