07 Titan Crew LE vs. 07 Chevy Crew Vortec MAX

Boredom makes you do wonderful things, my friends were all up at the local video/bookstore and were talking about trucks so the one kid says hey I know a good race, so 2 minutes later I get a text asking if I wanted to race, I ask what and they say a 2007 Chevy Crew Cab Vortec Max so I figure what the hey and meet them up in the spot we race which is 6500 feet above sea level. Here is how the races went

1st race I beat him by 2 cars (he had a bad start)
2nd race we were even when he hit the govenor at 98
3rd race about the same

So from 0-50 I was ahead by a car the whole time
50 - 75 he caught back up
80 - 100 dead even

Stoplight to stoplight Titan wins
1/4 mile might go either way

Just thought I would share

Was the chevy a new body or old body style.

It was the new Body style 2007 Chevy Silverado Vortec Max 6.0 with 367hp and 375lb of torque. I kinda thought I was going to get whipped, but I probably would have done better without 400 lbs of crap in the back and 20x8 Alba Karmas, I think the wheels weigh a ton or at least they feel that way when I switched them out.

well you could easily say he killed him the first run, but he didnt he said he killed him but bad start by the chevy, next 2 runs pretty even...

Well if you saw my times for the last visit to the track...my best time was a 15.6.....I I was pissed that I couldn't get a high 14....which is possible.blah blah blah. A track owned Silverado VortecMax lined up and it ran a 16.5. I was like...damn....I'm taking it the conditions where crappier than expected...or that specfic truck was running on E85 or something.
