I left one on the highway that was egging me on a while back. It was a easy kill.
From your sig. it looks like your stock. Not trying to start a war with you, but I doubt very much that it was an easy kill, especially on the highway. They are very strong on topend, and just keep pulling.

Don't Chebbies cut out at 99mph???? Or does the SS top out higher?
Mine never cut out, and I ran over 120mph in mine before my tune. I really couldn't believe how strong mine kept pulling after 110mph. It's like it just kept going. The SS's power band is the strongest at 2500-6000 rpms, and the tranny wind's out pretty good, so maybe that's why it just keeps pulling.

I have a nice open stretch on my way to/from work on interstate. I run 135-140 all day long in my Titan. Thats with a gear to go........it just wont shift into OD at 140 dangit!!!!! I "think" i could easily hit 145-150 if i could get her to shift out and had enough room.

Ya i wouldnt want to ever do thast agian in a truck. It was on the 10fwy with is literally flat and straight the whole way from LA to Texas. I swear you could put in in cruaise control, put the club on the steering wheel and take a nap lol. The truck had very little low end power compared to my titan but kept reving and pulling to the moon. Come to think of it, that was the block that siezed at 68,000 miles lol. whoops

Well Roy, I just got the NX tune frome Uprev(after @ 2 weeks). I DO plan on juicin it up in the next few days. I haven't been able to use the funny juice since the cams... But now......
150 mph, waaaaaay toooooo faaasstttt, that is scary in a truck of any kind. If things go wrong, ie. underated tires, tire heatup, tire seperation, trans lock up etc, in addition to aero dynamics/physics @ that speed could also come into play. Not to mention that they would have to pick up the pieces with a pair of tweezers, including the driver....things happen way to fast at that speed be careful guys, I am no saint, my Girl has been up to 115 before I came to my senses and thought about, my family, and JAIL. They would haul your azz to Camp Snoopy (and put your truck in jail too) for wreckless endagerment/driving, almost as bad as a DUI....... most of my races have been decided between 70~80 mph.
Peace,
Goose.
