Chevy Silverado SS ?

Ya theres so much you can do, but when is it not a silverado or ss anymore? My buddy just threw a 6.0 in his silverado and put his old blower on this new motor and tweaked it. Havnt got a chance to see it yet, trans went out immidiatly so he got a custom built one. Said he dynoed 540 to the wheels! lol
Hes gunna go to the track next time with me to see what it will do. He knows it will blow up soon most likely but he's always building and selling so i dont think it matters. If it was an SS for instance with a motor swap would you still call it a Silverado ss?? guess there would be an ( * ) next to it

Yup- not an SS anymore than "BigFoot" is an F150.

Yes, you would still call it an SS, cuz its still the same truck, but with a new motor. Most Chebby guys will change there motors to a 6.0, built 408, or a stroker motor, it just depends on the truck.
