Performance parts for the 4.7 are limited, not many out there yet. If your looking for easy, Superchips or KRC performance PCM flash. I suggest getting a Exhaust, preferably Headers as opposed to a cat-bak system. CAI would help also. If your looking to spend more... I ran a 4.7 Dakota at the track. He was pretty modded with exhaust, cut outs, intake, and so forth.

We ran and he ran a 14.1 and I ran a 14.2.

I didn't see one important thing. He was spraying 100 shot.

So you take that shot away from him....then he's probably a 14.9-15.1 truck.

id say more like 15.5 to 16.0

I wouldn't think 100 shot would give him over a second...

Typically a 100 shot is worth .5-1 second in the 1/4 mile. Not 1 1/5 seconds.
