F150 vs F150 vs Colarado vs Hemi

Hey,

I went to the street races with my brother in his lifted F150. My friend tagged along too in his lifted F-150. We did one race, and it was supposed to be just us two, but a hemi and colorado quickly showed up. We launched, and my brothers truck pulled all of them half a length. It was all the way until about 90 that the hemi finally pulled a little.

I thought the Hemis were supposed to be as fast as the Titans? The hemi had 20" rims, and an exhaust. My brother is lifted on 35" tires with 20" rims.

The hemi even got a jump too.

Bro, send me some of that stuff your smokin... I am NO Hemi fan by a LONG shot, but, my experience at the track with them, tells me your smokin something "REAL" good!

Re: F150 vs F150 vs Colarado vs Hemi

Well, my brothers F150 isnt a regular 150. It's heavily modded. Intake, Exhaust, Gears, headers, custom tune. He keeps up with my Titan from a roll for a good bit.

The Colorado was modded because last time we were there he was slower.

i looked at the colorado and canyon when they came out but felt they were a little small.. i'm wondering how the aftermarket is for them.

i also wouldn't put it past anyone to drop an ls motor in one of them.

I don't want to start anything, but with a little bit of mods, those dodge 4.7's are pretty quick. Stock they won't beat you but your no going to embarrass one either. of course, that's in a dakota and depends on the driver.

I/m not trying to start anything either bro. but, maybe if in your post you would have made mention to the additional mods of each of the trucks, in your post, the responses to your thread could have been different.
Almost anything can be made fast...

Well, I don't know man, everyone has it in their minds that all F150s are slow, and that the 'almighty' hemi can whip on anything 'cept the Titan. LOL
