Re: titan vs. frontier

you will beat him but they are pretty quick so he will probably be pretty close behind.

I think you got it if its the 3.5, but if hes got the 4.0 he will win. Either way its going to be close. Let us know how it goes!!

Re: titan vs. frontier

I have an 04 kc 4x4 with aem intake, magnaflow weld in and 2*.
My brother has an 05 cc 4x2 aem intake, gibson catback, and 2*. I beat him off the line by about 1 truck until about 80 when i pull away, he just runs out of HP after 100.

When we were both stock i would kill him off the line and hold the lead.

Frontys are pretty quick though, surprised the hell outta me!

Re: titan vs. frontier

I've been told if they catch you sleepin a little on the line, you'll never catch up. If you both launch correctly, you can sometimes edge them out.

Either way, it's going to be close, so don't think you're going to slaughter him or anything. You both seem to stand a decent shot, just depending on traction, driver, reaction time, alignment of the sun and the moon, polarity of your flux capacitor, etc.

Re: titan vs. frontier

Sounds like you will have the edge if you don't spin and bog.

However, why don't you just race him and find out? Now I'm curious. We could benchrace all day, but I have beer to drink. It's friday

Re: titan vs. frontier

Just run him and be safe about it, then come back and tell us how you did. Did they up the power in the 07 Frontiers?

I raced my old co-workers 2006 4.0L V-6 Frontier CC 4x4 SE last year with the 05 Titan CC 4x4 XE and beat um by a big margin by 100. Frontier was stock and the Titan had intake and exhaust though, but I gave him the jump and started after I heard him go WOT.

Re: titan vs. frontier

Is it a auto or manual.....Manual will probably beat you if he shifts good.....you should beat the auto.

Re: titan vs. frontier

you got it man...i think our truck is a couple tenths faster so as long as you dont peel out for an hour you got it....i raced a new fronty and a new pathfinder and beat them both....the pathfinder was actually pretty close...i was barely pulling on him.....i didnt pull REALLY hard on the frontier either, but i still knew there was no way he was gonna catch me....just my .02

Re: titan vs. frontier

I raced him twice on friday and the first time i got a bad start and i spun my tires a little but i caught him and passed him and then a cop pulled out in front of us so we both slammed on the brakes and then the second time i got a better start and we were right next to each other until i got to like 40 and then i got the lead and by the time we reached the next light and started slowing down i was like 4 car lengths in front of him . he was pissed it was great.

Re: titan vs. frontier

nice to hear you beat him, think how bad it would have been if you had the 0-40 WOT thing removed.
