The key word here is Escalade!!!!

It means, I have too much Sh!t on my vehicle, and it couldn't pass a yugo, going down hill!!!

Sounds like fun!!!

Good kill. I laugh at Escalades. I can't believe people pay so much for them.

Re: SAD Escalade owner

Great Kill!!

Here is another funny Escalade story for you vegastitan21; The other day I saw this 17 or 18 year old guy driving an Escalade through the Albertson's parking lot. He has his left hand hanging out the window with his cig between his thumb and first finger facing down. I guess this is the "cool" way to hold your smoke (if you smoke which I don't). I think it looks gay. He has white shades on, the stock stereo thumping and he is just full of himself.

The Escalade had the largest wheels and lowest profile tires I have EVER seen on an suv. A 40+ year old woman with all of the after market upgrades a plastic surgen can give walks in front of him and he gives her a couple of short whistles like the ones I see the gardeners do around here to 14 year old girls.

WHAT A JOKE!! I guess his mommy let him take her car to the store. I bet she didn't know he was cruising grocery store parking lots for women older than her lol.

Re: SAD Escalade owner

Escalades are one of the most ridiculous and retarded vehicles on the road today. A Car & Driver review once described them as a $55K mullet.

Considering the massive weight disadvantage, as well as the full-time AWD setup, I have a hard time believing any one of those pearl painted turds could beat a Titan.

They're certainly crunk though...

EDIT: Dang, my bad! Mr. Gold Teefh lured me into his troll bait and invented a new word all in one post, all while bumping a 6 month old thread.

EDIT #2: The link shown below, directly from Cadillac, states a 0-60 in just under 9 seconds for the 2003 6.0 Escalade, like yours. I think a Ford Ranger 4-cylinder manual with someone good at banging gears could probably take you. Unless you're running the special P Diddy Edition Escalade with the diamond-studded cylinder heads and Krystal blinker fluid, you're not going to touch a Titan.

Re: SAD Escalade owner

The new Escalades with the 6.2 is no slouch. I think something over 400hp. I thought I heard it was under 7 second 0-60. I need to google to be sure. I checked with Car and Driver. They tested the 2008 Escalade with 6.2 Ltr engine. 403hp and 417 tq with a 6 speed auto. 5500lbs. 0-60 in 6.3 seconds and 14.8 quarter mile. Sounds like it will give the Tundra a run. Maybe modded Titans will hang in there with the Escdalade but not me. I will just act like I don't see it at a red light.

The new Escalades are quick, but the older models I think 06 and older are complete dogs. I'm not a fan of escalades either, thier just a redneck status symbol, A loaded Tahoe had everything you could ever want, If I was going to spend 60K plus It wouldn't be on a GM product.

Re: SAD Escalade owner

Don't see any rednecks running around in a Escalade. Mostly just transplanted yankees trying to find a way to fit in. Those things don't haul bloody deer too good and 4-wheelers don.t fit in the back. Works real good to get them to the Oprah and such.

Re: SAD Escalade owner

My perception of the average goon who drives an Escalade really isn't a redneck. More like the other end of the spectrum.

Know what I mean, "homey"?

Around here rednecks with money or who want to look like they do drive them, all the yuppies and well to do people drive the Benz's, BMW's, and Lexus products, not a glamorized Tahoe with a Cadillac emblem on the front.

In my part of the country, the new Escalades are owned by professionals, soccer moms, and such who have no real use for a full-size tow/haul platform, other than the fact that everyone else at their local Starbucks rolls in one too.

After they'd depreciated a few years and the people with actual money have traded them off, then the gold teefh set moves in to scoop them up. You know, after the vehicle has depreciated ridiculously and a lender will give them an 8 year loan at 22% for roughly the same amount of money as a new Hyundai. They look super equipped with 26's, sitting in front of a dry-rotted, $30K house with a wood foundation.
