Track

This past weekend I was finally able to go to the track to run my truck. When I went to tech in, the guy doing the tech in told me "Don't forget to pull the chutes when you cross the traps" and started laughing. So in a smart a$$ voice I told him I had 2 cutes to pull. Go to make my first pass and I noticed that the weather man messed up on the forecast because it was around 15 degrees warmer (Mid 80s) that it was supposed to be. The wind was much fun either, gust strong enough that you could feel it blowing while going down the track. Track wasn't hooking at all. Shift point on the 2 - 3 Shift is to high. Despite all of this I was still able to manage a new best, .3 faster than my previous best time. My previous best time was in 50 Degree weather and low humidity (low for Louisiana). As soon as I can find a scanner to use I'll post the time slip.

If people have time to read this thread and post in it, they should also have time to make a quick guess.

Here is the slip:

Still need to work on the tune a bit, especially shift points.

Did they make improvements to State Capitol. I haven't been there in about 3 years.

They made major improvements. Try to go by there and see for yourself, if you haven't been there in about 3 years you will be suprised at the improvements.

Re: Track

Nice run man, congrats on hitting 14's. I think you could easily shave off another .2-.4 with some better weather and bringing down your 60ft. a bit. Very respectable times for a 5.3 with just a couple of bolton's, good job.
