Took out a 5.7L DC Tundra

I was on my way to church one sunday morning and I noticed a 07 Tundra w/ the 5.7 badge rolling beside me. I pull up next to him at a light and stayed steady at 45 with him. I started to accelerate with him and noticed he was going WOT. I was already half a length behind but when I finally WOT....I pulled and gained that loss.....shifted....and pulled a full length....and he let off. We come to a second light and same out come. We were at 25 and he WOT again....same result...but this time...I put the smack down and layed out 2 lengths. He had an exhaust so I guess that means he had 400hp. Oh well, my dinky 200hp DSM took him out anyways. All I know is my TITAN would of lost alot of dignity. You guys know me, I'm a VK56 fanatic...but that truck that size moves for me to only pull 2 lengths on him.

Nice kill and Yes, the Tundra moves alright. As I've said before, you better be modded if you are going to beat them.

Something interesting is happening at my track, there are two guys with identical packages and the truck is even the same color but the one guy is about 3 tenths slower than the other.

It's an odd thing and the poor guys Tundra is still quick but slow compared to the other Tundra and we can't figure out if he is spinning or his truck is that big a dog.

The faster one is my friends that I race all the time but until he gets some more mods I will continue to beat him every time.

Right now he has a drop in K&N and a Borla exhaust and he will have his secondary cats punched out this week but I bet I still take him by a couple tenths after that.

I typed that out but erased it because I didn't want anyone to think I became a Tundra freak....but I'm glad you agreed. Those things are quick....but the TITAN is still better.

A friend of mine car should be ready in another week or two so I should be going to the track often to take pics and video of his car. Might be able to get that pic you want.

Hey papa D, thats a pretty sweet hood, where did you pick that up?

And grats on the kill. How long was the road? I doubt he had 400hp. If an exhaust could give my tundra 20 extra horse's, id buy two. Nice to know that you guys are keeping us on our toes. Imagine how that guy felt. lol. probably scratching his head wondering how he lost.

Trust me...the way I saw how he took the turn after me.......I have AWD and took the turn at 50....he tried doing the same thing and straight plowed the turn and understeered..........I guess it was the waving that did it for him.
