Dodge 2500 Diesel

So i was on my way home the other night about 11 30 and there was this 2500 Dodge Crew Cab and well his girl was in there with him so i taunted him a little in town and when we got out of town I have about a 3 mile stretch to my house and he was ahead of me on a 2 lane road and running about 65 so I gased it in my 2006 crew Cab 2wd Titan and he gased his and blew smoke everywhere, luckily i was in the other lane, so we played and all but when i got on it he got scared. I pulled ahead of him at 105 and when i hit 125 he slowed down and started driving the 55 speed limit again. He was so embarassed it was night but i could tell he was mad from getting his recycled metal dodge beat by a titan. I ate every minute of it up.

Yea i know, bc with all the hyped up crap they can put on them they will outrun a jet almost.

Didn't know Titans could do 125 without tuning and removing the limiter. Did you remove the limiter?

NO, my dad picked the truck up on a wreck and never came got it so he gave it to me and i have no idea what has been done to the truck, but i did 120 and the limiter didnt kick in so obviously some1 that owned it before took it off. Weird huh? i didnt know that and its not the first time ive run 100 105 and 110 before without any limiter so it wasnt just that one time

limiter should kick in at 115, unless of course its been removed...

it didnt kick in so apparently it has been removed before so thats a plus bc i didnt have to pay for it...

Me and my brother both have TITANS and neither of the truck have speed limiters.

ok maybe mine doesnt what year and models are yours? mine is a 2006 crew cab se 5.6L motor. is that anywhere close to yours?

ALL titans have the speed limiter...unless its been removed. although...i guess there is the possibility that its a freak of nature truck that came without the restriction???????

Mine had one till I got uprev but there were a handful of times I hit 120+ without it kicking in. Kinda crazy, has this happened to anyone else?

yes its happen to me i hit 120 without it kicking in and around 115 two or three times and it never kicked in. maybe some dont have it.. I don't know it puzzles me also
