it's funny how you believe the story about the EVO and the 750 but not mine...I have no reason to make this up...I know what happened considering I was driving the damn car and I also know exactly what kind of bike it was, a GSXR 600 (just not sure of the year). I was also surprised to see the outcome because I did not expect to pass him up at any speed but I did. Maybe he was a "****ty" rider or wasn't giving it full throttle...I don't know and I don't care...all I know it what I said is what happened and sorry that your little ego is butt hurt that a bike lost to a car...get over it...he even stopped to ask me what I had done to the car at a redlight after we got off the interstate and I told him nothing and he did not believe me

you must think that everyone can ride like rossi....you could be driving a Z06 and lose to a Titan if the driver of the Z06 didn't know what he was doing...keep that in mind

and NOWHERE did I say "all average sports cars will keep up with all 600 sportbikes" ....I love forums LOL

The reason that the EVo vs. the 750 sounds reasonable is that the 750 is not as fast as a current 600. They were racing from a stop. This is far more challenging for the rider, plus a 360 hp awd EVO would be a beast off the line. It probably wouldn't be as challenging at 100+mph.
Your story about your brothers 300 R/T originally sounded like you were saying that 600cc sportbikes are always challenging you and are no contest. I can understand if you are clarifying that you were also surprised to pull on the bike and don't expect the same result in the future. At some point if this is always happening, you will come across a rider that can actually shift the gears and will leave that car at any speed. I am not saying that the car is not quick for what it is, but it is not in the same class as a 600 cc or larger modern sportbike. If you have never ridden one, I highly suggest it. It is amazing how quick these things are. The new 1000's are amazing.

Just to clarify, my EVO is 350+All Wheel Horsepower (that's power to all 4 wheels). That means, that my EVO puts out close to 450 brake horsepower. With it's 3200lbs chassis, it's a mid 12 second car at 5800ft elevation and high 11 second car at sea level. A stock 300C SRT-8 won't come close to the power to weight ratio, especially not at this elevation.

You telling me someone with a 5000# SRT-8 300C can beat your EVO?!?!?! Dude, what is the guy smoking!??!?! Even my stock 1st Gen 4g63 w/225bhp with stock turbo/boost can run a SRT-8 Charger thru the first 3 gears....oh yeah....sounds like you got a stutter box on your EVO! I have mine set at 4500!
